How To Hyperlink Your Email To Canva PDFs

Before we get started here’s a quick disclaimer: This blog is neither endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with Squarespace. However, Please note that some links are affiliate links and I will earn a small commission if you purchase through those links. I use all the products below and recommend them because they are companies that I have found helpful and trustworthy. Please let me know if you have any questions about anything listed below.

Canva keeps finding ways for us to love them more and man, this one has been one that I’ve seen asked around and that is, “can you add your email to a Canva PDF?” Before, no but now, oh yes you most certainly can. Let me show you how. Apparently, this has been updated since March and I’m just now writing about it (lol) but hey, better late than never.

1. Add/Select The Elements You Want to Hyperlink

Create PDF and select the text, elements, or icons you want to hyperlink.

2. Add Your Links

You can add your website or other external links but in this case, we are adding your email so you will insert the following below:

mailto:name@businessname.com

mailto:email@address

3. Download PDF & Open Email

Select download and select from either PDF Standard or Print and share with friends. It’s that’s simple.

Want to see how it’s done? Watch the clip below.

Just some things to keep in mind when hyperlinking emails.

  • You can do this with Canva PDFs.

  • You can do this on Canva websites.

  • You can also use images, text, elements, or icons to link up.

  • You cannot do this with PNG’s, JPEG’s, GIF’s, or videos.

That’s it for now and I hope this blog was helpful and I hope you learned something new today. If you’ve created some great stuff I’d love to see them. Share your comments, questions, and thoughts below! 😃

Ciao!

-Berenice
